614 area code change hits this weekend

Changes to the Ohio 614 area code hit this Saturday.

A new 380 area code will be added to the 614 region to ensure a continuing phone number supply.

Current phone numbers including area code will not change. However, you need to dial the area code plus the 7-digit phone number for all local calls, and 1 plus the area code plus the 7-digit telephone number for long distance calls.
