Drink coffee, support hungry at Happy Bean

M2540 has partnered with Happy Bean to give students and community members a unique opportunity to support Knox Needs.

Together they are introducing a new event, Happy Christmas Bean, taking place tonight.

The evening will be time for students to relax, spend time with their friends, drink coffee, enjoy Christmas music and support the community.

Music from Mikey McPherson, Scott Peterson, and Lauren Dixon and Makenzie Hoar will be featured at the event. There will also be classic Christmas records spun throughout the evening.

Happy Bean will be featuring holiday drinks throughout the evening.

The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at Happy Bean in downtown Mount Vernon.

Ten percent of all coffee proceeds will go directly to Knox Needs, the MVNU initiative for Knox County’s Food For The Hungry.

Students will also have the option to sponsor a local family as part of the event.
